Dear Mess Member, thank you for booking the Senior Officers' Mess (SO's Mess) for a private function. To assist us in preparing the venue and catering according to your preference, please kindly fill in this form with as much information as possible and submit it to the SO's Mess Manager by clicking the "SUBMIT" button.

As required by the HKI Region Security Officer, please either arrange to receive your guests at the Caine House Compound Guard Post and escort them to the Mess if they do not have the right of access or, if they know the way to the Mess, then you may leave their names with the Caine House Compound Guard Post or security post inside the main building in order that entry without escort may be allowed.

Requirement of Mess Staff (The Mess Manager will discuss and confirm with you once the above details are known. As a general rule, one waiter is required for every 15 guests) *

Charges

Deposit
A deposit of $2,000 should be made at the time of booking, which is to cover any damage / loss / spillages / mess caused.

Food
As per Menu of your preference.

Venue Charge
$350 per event (official functions waived).

Drinks (incl. wines/beers)
As per the current Bar Tariff.

Corkage
$25 per bottle.

Mess Chef / Extra Chef
Minimum $680 per function
(for 5 hours and $136 per hour thereafter).

Kitchen Helper
Minimum $350 per function
(for 5 hours and $70 per hour thereafter).

Barman / Waiter
Minimum $370 per function
(for 5 hours and $74 per hour thereafter).

By signing this Booking Form, you fully acknowledge and agree to the Terms & Conditions for booking the SO's Mess for a private function. Any breach of the Terms & Conditions may lead to the Member who made the booking and, if the booking is made on behalf of an organisation, the organisation itself being barred from holding future functions in the Mess.
