Ladies and gentlemen,
Mess Night for Mr. CHOW Yat-ming, Joe, PMSM, the Commissioner of Police will be held on Thursday, 19 March 2026.
Dress code will be Winter Mess Kit. Members attending the Mess Night should strictly comply with the provisions of FPM 15-21 concerning the Mess Uniform in particular the following:-
For male officers:
(a) Soft plain white shirt with pearl buttons (white stitches and white stitch button holes). Soft white classic collar without buttons (no wing collar)
For the ladies, same as male officers (with bow tie) or either:
(a) Black formal evening gown (ankle length); or
(b) Mess jacket, black dress (ankle length), black pantyhose and black shoes with heels
In addition, all officers in Mess Jackets should wear miniature badges of rank, lapel badges as well as the miniature medals.
Attendants should arrive at the SOM no later than 1830 hours. For attendance list and order of proceedings, please refer to Force Notice Board Message on 11.3.2026.
